Sunset Pointe... the developer didn't name it that... the residents have... and this is why.  Is this an incredible photo ? ... well get used to it if you live here.  Every day has a Sunset... and every one will be different.  If you've never been interested in weather... this is an experience that will change that.  You see the weather.  Looking from Alpine.... over El Cajon... just at the bottom of the hill... over La Mesa... over San Diego... and in this shot... over La Jolla... to the ocean beyond... it is stunning.

If you go back to the pages showing the interior of the great room... you will see a tripod mounted set of binoculars.  These photos suggest why.  The daytime views are incredible... and the night time views... just as incredible.  In between... Sunrises and Sunsets to amaze.  The two photos above were only taken about 10 minutes apart.  In the later one... with more red sky... notice the trail of light curving around the very distant hill... that is highway 52... curving around Tierra Santa ... probably 35 miles away.  Behind that ... on a clear day... with the binoculars... you can see the spire of the Mormon Temple in La Jolla.


El Capitan Mt... obscured by the coming Storm... Beautiful...Sun Peeked out for just a moment... had to take one more...


The day that I shot all of these photos.... a huge Pacific storm was blowing in... and it was gorgeous.  El Capitan Mt... obscured by clouds here... would usually be in the foreground of Northwest views.  And... if this dog house doesn't have the best view of any dog house you've ever seen... we would be amazed. Great care was taken to drop the home onto the point... with the least impact.  So the pool decking... and view deck... wrap around massive granite boulders.  The west face of the pool deck... has an amphitheater seat built into the hillside... you will never tire of watching the changing weather.  Sitting at the bar... looking toward the back of the home... you can see that every room has a view... every room has access out to the pool and yard... and every room has wide open walls of windows... to the private panoramic view.  Note too... the gutters and down spouts... entering engineered underground drains... every detail has been considered.
