I'm sorry to say I did not take the cloud and Fog photos.... someone else did a great job.  This one above... is looking out over the neighbors... toward Escondido to the South.  As the quote from "Sunset Western Garden Book" said... "One day... High Ocean Fog".   With some properties marketed as having a view... you have to know where to stand.  With 14234 Ridge Ranch Road.... there is nowhere you can go ... to hide from the views.  Since these photos are so much fun... we dedicated this page to Valley Center Weather.  San Diego is know for boring weather... good boring weather.  What you might see once a decade... snow flurries... maybe... who knows?  What you will see daily... light shifts... shadows... blue skies... Clouds... Sunsets... Ocean reflections... and Sunrises.  In the Fall ... maybe an occasional Santa-Ana... but if this were Wyoming... you would have to carry rocks in your pockets to keep from blowing away.  Here... we call it a gentle Ocean Breeze.... and it is!

Here we have two photos of almost the same exact view.... different lenses... different fog level... different shadows... and different sun accents.  The views will change by the hour... the joy and entertainment... will never cease.  This home shown below is a spectacular property... with an amazing view.... but not comparable to the view at the top.  The neighboring mansion... has a South View to die for... above... from the 1.5 Acre Pad... a full circle panorama to amaze.  If there is one word that truly describes the experience of this property... it would be Fun !

Here we see a view ... the only view... of the Valley Center Water District tank... that is adjacent to the property.  This is from the Southeast corner of the pad... right out at the edge of the pad... looking toward the Southeast.  This is the only way you can see the water tank from the pad.  And... while helping with water pressure... and fire risk... it is out of sight.  In the distance... the Cuyamaca's... and Pasa Picacho Peak.  In the dark of the night... the light strike of Sunrise Highway can be seen.  Out there in the shaded valley... Lake Wohlford... and the best catfish in San Diego County.  The second photo above... the City lights of Escondido...JJCale lives in Valley Center
